Oncology (Cancer) Ward
Gulab Devi Hospital, Lahore is running a dedicated Pulmonary Oncology ward since April 1997. All modern facilities for diagnosis and treatment of Lung cancer patients are being provided free of charge.
Cancer treatment consists of three modalities :
1. Surgery
2. Chemotherapy
3. Radiotherapy
Surgery and full course modem chemotherapy is offered free of charge to all patients. Cancer chemotherapy usually costs 1 lakh to 3 lakh Rupees per complete course ,but with the help of donors, it is provided free of charge to all needy patients. Hospital is also facilitating a 64 bed ward with all modern amenities including a small Intensive Care Unit which is serving cancer patients day and night. All patients requiring Radiotherapy get this facility free of charge.
