Introduction

The Department of Paediatrics was established in 2017 with the mission of providing high-quality healthcare services to the paediatric population of Lahore. The department is structured into three main subunits: the Paediatric Ward, the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and the Neonatology Department, each playing a vital role in the continuum of care for children and newborns. The department is staffed by a dedicated and experienced team, comprising 2 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 1 Assistant Professor, 1 Senior Registrar, 2 Senior Medical Officers, 18 Postgraduate Trainees, and 4 House Officers. This multidisciplinary team ensures round-the-clock clinical care, academic supervision, and hands-on training.
